During my parent’s visit, not only did they scrub ivy, paint like mad people, and occasionally take the dog on a walk…but they also had time (and the willpower) to help improve the front of the house.
I left you all hanging a few months ago when I started talking about paint color testing. In truth it’s been a killer summer. I traveled for work, went on vacation, and then went home for a long weekend and all of a sudden I’m trying to catch up on life.
After the hurricane of work that was the week my parents came to visit, I vowed I wouldn’t pick up a paint brush again for a while. However, after working multiple 14-hour days back to back, it’s hard to just stop doing anything.
We’re getting so close to finally re-painting our house! Recently, my parents came to visit and help us work on some home repairs (they’re the best) and since I’ve been scraping ivy tendrils off brick for weeks now, I thought that testing some exterior paint colors would be an excellent pick-me-up.
