A few weeks ago, P and I decided to treat ourselves to an amazing evening out.

It’d been a while since we took a minute to celebrate life, it’d been a rough year and it was past time to celebrate and appreciate how far we’ve come. On a Friday after work we headed to Pineapple and Pearls for dinner.

I anticipated a nice evening out, but I was absolutely blown away by the service, the dishes, and the overall experience of Pineapple and Pearls.

A Tourist At Home

You know when I love D.C. the most? Early on Saturday mornings when most of the city still feels like it’s asleep. This past weekend we ventured out to walk around and get some food and were pleasantly surprise by the absence of crowds and the availability of places to park.
